About the Yacht
For trips as from April 2010:
S/y Mozzo is a German-flagged Bavaria 49 (Length: 15,40m),
built in Germany in 2004. The yacht is fully insured.
Due to her size she sails very safely and fast and is
therefore ideally suited for longer sailing trips in a
respectful atmosphere.
The ideal number of participants is around 5 people, even
though most of the time there will be less people on board.
Sometimes, bigger groups are possible as well.
Apparently, a yacht of this size is very expensive to
maintain, but helps me to share the joy of sailing with
other people and friends. Your contribution is to reduce my
annualized costs for the yacht.
(The usual price for a yacht of this size as charged by
charter companies is around 5000 Euro per week plus 100 Euro
per day for the Skipper, which is much more expensive than
my discount prices.)
More information and pictures are to follow soon.
For trips before April 2010:
S/y Settima, (which is Italian for "the seventh"), is a German-flagged Moody 35 with bilge keels, built in the UK in 1995. I purchased her in 2007. There are two double cabins onboard, as well as two couches, which might be used for sleeping. The yacht is fully insured.
