About the Yacht
S/y Mozzo, (which is Italian for "ship-boy"), is a
German-flagged Bavaria 49 (Length: 15,40m), built in Germany
in 2004. The yacht is fully insured.
Due to her size she is very spacious and therefore ideally
suited for longer sailing trips.
I offer trips with an ideal number of participants of around
3 or 6 persons . Please inform me about your preferences
regarding the number of people on board in your application.
Please note that often there will be a small group of 2 or 3
people on board only.
For guests the 3 cabins with double berths are available (1
x forecabin + 2 x aftcabins).
Technical specification:
- 5 cabins, of which 3 cabins have double berths
- 3 bathrooms (toilet + shower) plus deck shower
- 650l wasser tank
- Sprayhood and Bimini
- Furling main sail and furling genoa
- 75 PS Volvo diesel engine
- Diesel heater (for winter)
Apparently, a yacht of this size is very expensive to
maintain, but helps me to share the joy of sailing with
other people and friends. Your contribution is to reduce my
annualized costs for the yacht.
(The usual price for a yacht of this size as charged by
charter companies is around 3500 Euro per week plus 100 Euro
per day for the Skipper, which is much more expensive than
my discount prices.)
